Professional: Professor Vessey’s research interests include individual differences in abilities, gifted and talented interventions in the schools, social psychology of attitude development and change, and the relationship between strength of belief and accuracy of belief. He is currently affiliated with the Western Psychological Association (WPA). He also has a strong interest in church history and historical theology.

Personal: Tom has been married to his wife, Rebecka, since 1993, and they have six children who are involved in many and various activities. In his spare time, Tom enjoys reading, playing guitar and community theatre.
