Professional: Dr. Stark's courses include freshmen and advanced writing, logic, philosophy, and American thought and culture. He primarily researches the late Renaissance, or the early Enlightenment, depending. His monograph, Rhetoric, Science, and Magic in Seventeenth-Century England, appeared at The Catholic University of America Press in 2009. More recently, he co-edited with Tina Skouen a collection titled Rhetoric and the Early Royal Society (Brill, 2015). Various journals have published his essays, among them The Journal of the History of Ideas, Literature and Theology, and Rhetorica.
