Professional: Professor Leavitt’s professional business experience includes 19 years in management positions in the financial lending industry. Most of that time was with HSBC.

Professor Leavitt started at Corban in 2001 as a full-time faculty in the School of Business, and his teaching responsibilities include personal finance, management and economics. In addition, he helps oversee the capstone Corban Consulting Partners project, giving students valuable experience working with real business clients in the Salem community.

Personal: Don married Joanne in 1981, and they have three children; Don (’09), Michael (’12) and Tina. He enjoys basketball, dirt bike riding and golf.

Why Corban: “I had an opportunity to change my career from serving customers to molding students. Corban has given me a platform to pass on my years of practical experience in business to the next generation of Christian business leaders. I am grateful for the chance to be involved with the Christian young people attending this university.”
