International Student Support

New international students are introduced to American culture through a fall orientation. We try to place new international students with American roommates to help make the transition to America a little easier. In addition, our International Student Support can help connect students with tutors and English writing support.

There are plenty of ways to get involved with other international students, as well as community life in general. We encourage sightseeing and special events, some of which have included hiking Silver Creek Falls, exploring Oregon’s capital city of Salem, touring the second tallest waterfall in the U.S. at the scenic Columbia River Gorge, and participating in various residence hall competitions. Our World Outreach Week and International Chapel are just a couple of ways we seek to see what God is doing around the world. Some international students have also gone on missions trips to other countries!
