Admission Requirements

Corban University welcomes Christian students who value a comprehensive Christian education and meet college admissions criteria.

The University seeks students who are able to present strong academic records and a clear testimony of faith in Jesus Christ. The Admissions Committee also evaluates each applicant's ability to succeed in college and are in agreement with the Statement of Faith and lifestyle policy of the university.

Applicants should have a high school GPA minimum of 2.70 and a 900 SAT Score or a 19 ACT score.

It is recommended that applicants complete four years of English, three years of Math and Social Studies, and two years of Science and a foreign language. In some cases, an applicant whose records or test scores do not meet the standard for admission may be admitted with a provisional acceptance.

Every student applying for freshman status at Corban University must submit the following items:

  • A pastoral reference from a senior pastor, youth pastor, or Bible teacher
  • Official high school transcripts, both during the senior year and a final one
  • SAT or ACT scores (2.70 GPA minimum; 900 SAT minimum, and 19 ACT minimum)
Our SAT code is 4956 and our ACT code is 0477
  • A non-refundable $35 application fee

A transfer is considered a student who has taken or will have taken at least 31 semester hours or 47 quarter hours at a previous post-secondary institution. A student must also submit the following items:

  • A pastoral reference from a senior pastor, youth pastor, or Bible professor
  • Official transcripts from all post-secondary schools attended. If less than 31 semester units or 47 quarter units then we will need high school transcripts and SAT/ACT scores.
  • A non-refundable $35 application fee

We require at least a 2.0 GPA to transfer from another college or university. A student should be in good standing at the last college or university they attended.

Re-admits are students who have previously attended Corban, but are not currently enrolled. Students applying for re-admission should submit the following items:

  • A re-admission form available from the admissions office
  • A non-refundable $10 application fee
  • A pastoral reference from a senior pastor or youth pastor
  • Any transcripts from institutions attended since attending Corban
