Counseling Services

The goal of Corban University's Counseling Services is to provide high quality and confidential mental health counseling and consultation to Corban students. Focused counseling can help students successfully resolve and manage problems that interfere with academic progress.

If concerns or problems are of a long-term nature or require medication, the counseling staff will work with the individual to assess his or her needs and the available resources, both on campus and in the community.

All counselors subscribe to the ethics codes of the National Association of Social Workers, and the Oregon State Board of licensed Professional Counselors and Therapists.

A student may arrange appointments with a counselor by calling 503-375-7177 or emailing Most students are given appointments within one to two days of their request. If the student’s need is urgent, every attempt will be made to see them the same day. Students may also download an intake form and then deliver your completed form to student life.
