About Our Name

It is the mission of Corban University to educate Christians who will make a difference in the world for Jesus Christ. The Hebrew word for corban (qorban) represents the highest gift given to God.

“…in view of God's mercy… offer your bodies as living sacrifices, holy and pleasing to God—which is your spiritual act of worship.” Romans 12:1 (NIV)

Our students are trained to become leaders who are set apart for a life of spiritual sacrifice and service, and able to advance as salt and light in a darkened world.

CORBAN magazine is published by the Office of Marketing & Communications at Corban University and is sent to alumni, parents, supports and friends of the University. Our missional themes are transformative leanging, holistic development and Christian stewardship.
