Q. Why make donations online?
A. The two greatest benefits to your making a gift online are convenience and immediacy. Online giving is very easy and you can do it from literally anywhere. Online giving is immediate – you have full control over when you give.
Q. Is online giving secure?
A. Online giving is just as secure as giving your gift in person. Corban uses up-to-date security procedures and data encryption to make sure your payment information remains secure. All funds are transferred electronically to minimize the chance of transfer errors. Corban makes use of secure connections and systems along with routine backups and integrity checks. You can be sure your gift will be received and counted into the Corban Fund because the funds come directly from your bank account into the University's account. There’s no chance for losing an envelope or incorrectly adding numbers.
Q. How will I know that Corban has received my gift?
A. Upon submitting your online gift, you will receive immediate verification by e-mail. In addition, within seven business days the University will send you by regular mail an official Corban receipt for tax purposes.
